These are quality journals. From the pen holder that is sewed on with sturdy thread, to opening flat without having to turn the book almost inside out to get them flat, to using a medium pressure to mark on a page and then be completely erased and no damage to the page. First paper I've used this particular pencil on and had it completely erase.Also, there are pockets front and back, pages are lightly numbered at bottom of page. Several of the pages, front and back are the same paper but they have been left blank. There are two bookmarks. One the color of the cover, the other a complementary color.The elastic closure is well attached to the inside of the cover, but the covered up so it looks very tidy, but strong.Shared the books with my daughter and granddaughter. They are just as thrilled as I am with these journals.Sorry to gush, but I'm so pleased and frankly surprised at these journals.I don't have any connection with anyone in the company, not do I have any financial connections, not was I asked to review them for free product or cash incentive. Simply my own happiness with them.Too many shabby companies that want to rip people off.In my opinion, when we find good ones, we should give good reviews.Will purchase again!
