2021-01 Edit: Nonsense. 100% error in this phase. 100%. Downgrade from 2 to 1 star. I bought 9 of these extra long cables for our new basement media room. I connected 3 of these USB cables to 3 different power supplies next to our couch/computer/viewing area. You will be deployed 6 hours per week. Mostly when the whole family is watching a movie in the screening area and some of us have a few drinks while we watch the movie. They are nice and long and the 90° loading head angle is a great design - but they are not a quality product and I see a very high failure rate. 9 of these cables have been installed since November 2019. In the last 6 months I had failed 3 completely. It's 30% bounce. When the first crash happened (2 months ago) I assumed it was user error. These cables are long and easily tangled. I assumed the kids had somehow abused the cord. From that point on, I eventually rewound them and used velcro straps to reduce tangling and wear. night (6 months). I'm sure they haven't been abused and we're the only ones using them, and only for a few hours a day. I'm sure they weren't built with quality and durability in mind.
