At first glance things are very light, which is good when you add something to that tiny E12 fitting. The downside is that the connection between threads and the new socket isn't always good. I had one (of five) cracks when I installed them and had to use a tool to fish out what was left of the original socket. When JACKYLED was notified they immediately offered a refund or replacement, my choice, so I'm very happy with their service. I used them as an adapter to fit four smart lightbulbs into a ceiling fan. I see other reviews mention the hardware falling apart due to vibration, and between the combination of a hefty smart bulb, fan vibration, and shaky connections, we'll see how long it takes my bulbs to hit the carpet. As much as it sounds, they work pretty well. They fit well, are very light and don't make the bulb sound obscene. I think they can hold up in a static light for quite a while, and the price is right enough that a bug or two isn't a big deal. At this point, my main concern is whether the lightbulb will fall on someone. Use your judgment carefully.
