Product works as described and is very well built. Please note that you need to connect your own USB power adapter (e.g. from a phone) to power it using the supplied USB cable. You will also need to purchase your own AAA batteries (two) for the remote control. However, you don't have to use it if you don't want to, as there is a "Select" button on the top of the device. I've noticed that when a second HDMI cable is connected, the device doesn't switch to it until the connected device is turned on. I chose this product over other HDMI switches because all the cables are on the back. This allows you to place the device face-up in front of your TV or on a nearby table. You might want to stick some rubber feet on it (which you'll also have to find yourself). Other switches are built in so the cables stick out at both ends, forcing you to hide them behind your TV. The device itself is very well made and I would give it 5 stars if it came with batteries, power adapter and rubber feet. But I understand why this is not the case for cost reasons. It would also be nice if there were more colors or just one color, a more neutral silver or black instead of red.
