Used as a docking cable, requires some preparation at purchase but is of excellent quality. I just started using it and of course they want to check it out right away. However, I could not imagine a catastrophic failure of the line. Like any other rope, it is subject to wear, but time will tell. I would buy from them again because they manufacture in the USA, it takes some honesty to manufacture in the USA and not easy money!
