I bought 2 of these to use on my cats when I take them to the rabies clinic for better control. One of them is extraordinarily bold. So I have to be able to keep a good grip so she doesn't wiggle and scrape and bite her way to the ground and then take off. Both of my cats are about the same height and weight, so I ordered the same harness for both and only measured one of them. Well I had to measure both because it was too loose on one of them. Rather than fumbling with a spare, I simply sewed an extra length of Velcro on each side to make it work. For the price and as seldom as I would use them, they are perfect. I wouldn't use a leash regularly as it seems cheap, but the harness is quite reliable, especially if you only use it occasionally or as a spare/spare.
