Review on Koh I Noor Bristol Smooth Wire Bound 26170410413 by Summer Hendricks

When the little chart said it would be suitable for watercolor I was excited, I really prefer smooth hot paper over rough cold paper and I have pretty lucky I drew on Canson Bristol paper so I decided to give it a try because I really like the interior and exterior design of this paper. I've never been so disappointed with paper, it doesn't warp too much so I have to give him credit for that. I just filled out the whole notebook out of damn stubbornness and didn't want to waste paper, but damn, working with him always gives me a headache. You won't be able to blend or the paper will tear, you won't be able to clean well because sizing the paper causes the paint to pile up and bubble like you're painting on wax, grainy paint doesn't granulate and if you make a mistake, you don't have to remove the paint. As a result, you either tear the paper or the color simply discolors. All my pictures ended up looking so weird and I didn't like the effect at all. This paper is great for ink and for drawing, even ink works pretty well, alcohol markers work pretty well, but for watercolor? They really should change the rating because it just doesn't work and I wouldn't buy it.
