Review on Honest Paws Natural Enzymatic Toothpaste by Lisa Pruitt

At first, as always, he reacted to the thought of brushing his teeth. He was anything but enthusiastic. However, when he tried, he became less resilient and got over it much quicker than usual. I give 4 stars because the dog is happy. I used to use Hartz dog toothpaste and when I opened it up and saw that it was gel I wasn't sure. I've found that gels are often thinner than pastes and harder to stay in place. This gel was no different and it was harder to tell where I was brushing (sometimes I feel like I was brushing a back tooth and the paste will tell me I wasn't). This gel also tended to slide off the brush more than the paste. As it is a gel and harder to control I give it 3 stars BUT I have two tubes and will definitely use them. Overall he gets 4 stars because the dog didn't fight as hard as with Hartz and has clean teeth!
