In general I like these jeans but the waist seems a bit big to me. They fit most of his pants and jeans in length, but the waist seems a little big. This won't be a problem, except that the more times he wears them, the harder it is to tighten them so that they fit him properly. At first we were able to tighten them in the waist just fine, although they were a bit long. As he got taller and they fitted better, it became increasingly difficult to pull up the waist to stay upright. It doesn't have a backing to speak of, so if they're not tightened enough, they'll just fall off and keep falling. .The material seems to wash and wear well but to be honest he didn't spend much time with them on the playground as the stay-at-home order went into effect shortly after their arrival. They also seem pretty comfortable with jeans as he doesn't complain about them like he does with most others. Right now the retail price is between ten and seventeen dollars, which isn't bad, but I wouldn't buy them in the future unless they're closer to ten, simply because stretching the rubber band has become a headache over time.
