Ordered these towels to replace faded towels that IKEA no longer sell. IKEA has gone rough rather than soft, and their current offering isn't as good. But this. It took a bit of work and I was hesitant to comment on the quality as initially they didn't seem very absorbent which is a key feature of the towels. But after an exposure time of 4-5 washes, the fabric loosened up a bit and started to absorb as expected. Unlike reviews of competing products, they did not crumble. It's barely noticeable now and they've retained a nice softness. There is no noticeable fading. The bath towels are large - good for my 6ft tall; too much for my petite 5" partner. Once she's settled on a color, I'm happy to buy her some smaller towels. I wear a lot of flannel shirts and can usually tell straight away which ones barely last a season and which ones a few years. These Towels seem to be the sturdy variety that will last for years.
