Perfect for my baofeng hp9 with extended battery. I also use the Expert Power Extended Battery. The material is durable Cordura. Stitching is excellent, very strong, double; sewn where necessary. Clicks are strong. It has a belt loop with Velcro and behind it a piped belt loop. Elastic band with durable plastic clip. There is enough space for a handheld microphone and the radio can also be easily charged via the power connection on the side of the battery. The straps are strong and easy to adjust, the center ring is metal. I love how my radio fits in with a belt clip, it moves the antenna away from the body for better reception. Took this last weekend at night, strapped to my backpack, all the time with no issues, never dropped with this suitcase, despite getting into the bag many times during this trip. Used straps to hang from a tree when I was at camp and hooked up a radio to my portable dipole I had in my tree. Used a belt clip when I was away from camp without a backpack, worked great, loved the quick release buckles. and buckle in front. Designed to allow the radio to easily change frequency. I am very happy with this case, I will buy another one for my daughter. So she can use it when she goes to pack things.
