Audio delay on Bose QC35, otherwise works great!

I bought this device because the Bluetooth distance from my MacBook to the new Bose QC35 headphones is an amazing 15ft. I still need a few meters to get to the kitchen and bathroom without turning off the sound. So this device gets me to the other end of the kitchen, about 30 to 35 feet, before it shuts off. It's enough for my needs, and I'd be happy with it, except. QC35 does not have aptX or other HD or low latency codecs. This means that all of my audio is delayed by a quarter of a second. Have you ever seen a movie where the voices are a quarter of a second behind? YouTube video? It's the most distracting thing and it's a complete deal breaker. When I plug my headphones directly into my Mac, this problem doesn't exist. Too bad, I had high hopes. EDIT: I cannot fault this device. This is likely an oversight on the part of Bose, who put inferior Bluetooth components in their flagship product. I'm still looking for a solution to my problem. The device is working properly. I used it in send and receive mode. Just be aware of the codecs your devices use and the environment you use them in. When I use it to listen to music in the yard while mowing the lawn, it works as advertised and the lag isn't a factor. It was my fault and I should have researched more. Also, the seller contacted me after this review. You are very helpful! I recommend this product again, just be aware of the compatibility with your other devices.
