So glad I decided to try these grommets for my curtains!I wanted something minimalistic and easy to use. These are perfect and look better than expected. I used medium weight cotton fabric. On the picture you can see that I just folded the fabric and included the interfacing. I didn't want any seams on top. So, after folding and pressing, I stitched the sides and the bottom of the curtain. Then I marked and cut the holes for the grommets. Please keep in mind that three layers of fabric plus the interfacing was a bit too think to snap the grommets on easily. And I didn't want to cut the interfacing around because it would compromise the stiffness and change the look. I had to carefully use a rubber hammer to snap the grommets in place and they successfully survived the abuse without cracking. Using thiner fabric would be a piece of cake.Love those and highly recommend. I hope you find this helpful.
