I have now bought two of these sets. In December I started making my own fermented hot sauces as I have a kid who LOVES these things and we had a bunch of chili that we have been growing and drying since last summer. After pureeing fermented peppers, I wanted something pretty to dress up sauces with, with a good overview of the contents - and it's PERFECT. When I finish brewing a quart jar of veggies, I'll end up filling about 2 of them, with 1 inch of headroom, which is pretty important since fermented sauces will fizz a little, even in the fridge. They're thin glass, but no worse than anything you'll find at the grocery store, and the wide opening makes them easy to clean and pour thicker sauces from the bottle. You can also mix bottle-feeding. Now we make our own wok sauces (with hot pepper sauce, of course!) and it's easy to mix in soy paste, oyster sauce, oils, and other goodies. They're also very, very pretty to look at with colorful pepper sauces in them! I definitely recommend them if you want attractive returnable bottles. I love her!
