I don't recall previous pumice stones being that soft and wearing out that quickly, but still this is the only 'easy' way to get rid of the hard/scale. Water deposits from sinks or toilets without the use of big chemicals or brute force. This pumice stone is ideal for removing scale rings around sink drains or toilet deposits. But they are very soft and have no handles. Some of the other options have handles, but knowing how to use pumice stone to clear debris, I don't think handles will work well. Pumice varies.
