Although these T-Taps are listed on the Revain page as being made in China, my packaging said they were made in the USA by 3M. They worked fine, no problems crimping thin wires. Insert the wire into the slot, bend the cover and pinch it with pliers. Did. The trick is finding the right size tee for the wire you'll be clamping to, so I bought a bag each of red, blue, and yellow. The tee allows connections in tighter spaces than traditional butt joints. Although this is my first time using them, I like them a lot more. But as someone pointed out, these T-bends MUST use a spade connector, so be aware they are required. However, the advantage of a T-junction is that you can easily connect wires of different sizes by using the appropriate connector on each wire. In my case I had a fuse holder with a 12 AWG wire coming out after a fuse that needed to be connected to a 22 AWG wire. So I used a 12 AWG yellow tee on the fuse wire, and for the other wire I was able to use a 22 AWG red spade terminal. A standard one size link would not work in this situation.
