I love the plaid. I bought a smaller size (great size for a dwarf hamster). Easy to assemble, takes 30-45 minutes. The rubber bands are ok, although I had 3 breaks (they charge extra). I'd say rubber bands are fine if you plan to take the cage apart at some point, but if you plan on keeping the cage in good condition, using wood glue and aquarium silicone to seal the liner instead of the duct tape would be a great idea. Basically I am satisfied with the cage. Very well packed! As you can see from my photo I also have other Niteangel products that fit perfectly.
