This is the first microphone I have ever seen with a built in echo. That makes it pretty fun if you like to sing. Or if you want to chat with people while talking on the phone on a scale. There is a lot in the box (see picture). Two racks and different adapters. There is a pop filter, very handy. I personally think any mic would benefit from a shock mount. So if you have one, this mic might fit just like mine (note: this mic has controls on the side). I liked the ease of use. I literally just plugged it into my Windows 10 PC and started recording with the voice recorder. Truly plug n play. The sound quality is okay. It's not a quad show, but it has its uses. I found it didn't pick up too much of the sounds around me (which I didn't want to pick up - like movements and key types). The arrow handle helps keep it close to your mouth just to catch your voice and nothing else (which you need!). Adding a little echo really helps the voice sound a little better. I actually get the best sound when speaking into the mic up or down (not up). For the price I paid, I think it's an all-around great package.
