I have several similar spice bottles - reusable/reusable, with spices that can be ground from the bottle. I really like the ones I have as you can rotate to grind as the spice comes into the cap and then remove the cap to see/measure how much spice to use. Grinding directly in the dish is undesirable to me as sometimes there can be more spices than expected and this ruins the dish. In these items, the spices are of good quality. However, grinders are sticky and the caps don't stay behind when you grind. So I had to play around with coffee grinders to get them working and grind in a small bowl and then measure or pour into a bowl. So for me it was a lot of work, not the ease I'm used to from these grinder spice containers. Maybe I don't understand how to do this, but off-caps are a problem for me. So it's not for me, but might work well for others.
