Review on CottonColors 3D Window Decals: Stylish UV Blocking Decorative Window Film for Privacy and Home Décor - 17.7x78.7 Inch by Katrina Brown

This is a beautiful window decoration. It is made of high quality thick plastic, easy to assemble, has relief (you can feel the etched pattern). Also at this price there is nothing better compared to other high-quality lids. The size I ordered, 3ft x 6.5ft, covered two 12" x 72" windows and one 32" x 55" oval window. Works great, just follow the instructions. Clean the windows and apply plenty of soapy water to the window during installation. When you put it in place it will literally float. As for looks, I was concerned it would be a flat sheet of plastic with lines drawn on it, like a lot of cheap fake sheets I've seen. No, that is not so. This is actually a good copy of etched glass. It shines beautifully when the sun shines through (which it clearly does, the light doesn't fade), and in the evening when the hall light is on. Reflected colors have a true rainbow hue; like a prism. Doesn't block the view into the house. You still see people outside the window, and in the evening they will see you, just not in detail (you can see the forms, but if someone isn't by the door/window you can't see what you're wearing, etc.) . So it's not for super privacy, for that I suggest a frosted glass look. This particular design lends itself to clipping errors. I'm picky about these things, and there are definitely areas that I haven't cut as cleanly as others. I thought I would have to redo one of the windows because of this, but when I stepped back it went completely unnoticed. I actually had to look for areas, so the casual observer had no idea. TL; DR: Overall it's great value for money. The price is great compared to others, the looks are far superior to anything I've seen, made of quality material, easy to install (follow the instructions) and make mistakes when trimming. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. (1 year update: still looks amazing, no fading, no cracking, no peeling. Most people have no idea this is cling film and are surprised when they find out. * If they used to before the came installation they know it's plastic so when they are new visitors and they compliment the windows i tell them it's cling film and they are amazed so far 100% satisfied with my purchase)
