I bought a glass top desk for the office. At first I liked my desk but hated how the desk stands obstructed my view of the people in my office. The desk manufacturer strongly recommends not installing monitor arms, so I felt trapped with those stupid monitors in front of my face and started hating my desk. Then I stumbled across it. game changer! I was still concerned about the print on the desk, but I noticed that one of the other reviewers had snapped a photo of the same desk as me. I decided to take a chance and ordered it along with a dual spring arm monitor. FANTASTIC. Since the monitor arm I'm using has 2 lag bolts and only includes a SMALL reinforcement under the table, I used a block of wood to distribute the pressure under the table. Very satisfied. The monitors are easy to slide aside when I'm talking to clients or a boss, and I like the design of the product and its ability to distribute weight and protect the desk. My monitors are permanently installed and I have gained an enormous amount of desk space. YUP! I was hesitant to make a purchase because I really doubted it was worth it. I'm glad I did. The fasteners are smooth and nicely cut giving the table a professional look (the wooden parts are hidden under the 3" bar) and the metal is strong with a protective film on the side that contacts the table/glass. The goalkeeper.
