I needed another pan, I saw this one and bought it. I tested it and made rice. It was browning really well and I added the liquid and set to boil. I was a little worried the rice would stick, but it didn't. I've never used a stainless steel skillet before, so I was a little worried it might not work. My rice was fine and I'm happy with my new pan. I had burn marks on the side of the pot from the heat, but they went away fairly easily with a little soaking.
