I was debating buying this frame because the small pictures were custom sized. I read all the reviews and finally decided to just give it a try. As soon as I ordered it I started looking for where to get custom size prints and came across this wonderful FREE website called oddprints.com. You can specify the size you want and it will be placed on the 4x6 image for you. You can then download it to your computer to print from home, to print from Walgreens/CVS/etc. download OR order it from their website. I was too excited to take all my photos so I just downloaded it to print on photo paper at home and it's PERFECT! I went with other sizes suggested by other reviewers but 1.75 x 1.25 was too small for the photos I had. I measured the little squares with a ruler when they arrived and they are 2x1.5. I love my frame! My son is only 9 months old so we still have spots available but this is exactly what I wanted! I recommend every new mom to get this for their baby's progress in the first year of life.
