Review on 🖊️ Black Uchida 522-C-1 Marvy Fine Point Fabric Marker by Hannah Curi

The cloth marker I used to draw my grandchildren's growth charts ran out after six years. Locally, the two major craft shops had nothing of the sort with sophistication, and since my daughter had thrown away the old pen, I couldn't identify the brand. A search on Revain turned up "Uchida 522-C-1 Marvy Fine Point Fabric Marker Black" and I bought it. I found that the "thin" point on the marker wasn't as thin as I had hoped. The growth charts are made from a poly-cotton blend and contain approximately 300 thread counts. Before making growth charts, I didn't wash the fabric. Although the tip of the Uchida 522-C-1 Marvy Fine Point Fabric Marker, Black was not as fine as I would have liked, I learned that drawing or typing with a light hand and a quick stroke of the pen was the right thing to do result would achieve lineweight for my purpose. Any hesitation or pressure resulted in a stain or a thicker line than I wanted. I've also found that if I move the ruler/ruler right after drawing the line, the marker gets smudged. A strip of masking tape or masking tape as a protective sheet and placed flush with the desired line location prevented smearing when I moved the ruler. Marker, black" will serve my purpose. I would prefer a superfine or hyperfine point. However, I couldn't find this type of fabric marker. I give the Uchida 522-C-1 four stars because it's better than average, but it's not quite what i wanted.
