At first glance this keyboard seems like a dream: - wired/wireless mode - PC/Mac mode - backlit - hot swappable - affordable I wanted in the keyboard as mentioned above. However, it turns out that hot-swap compatibility is limited. Another reviewer mentions it here and I'm really sorry I didn't see it before I bought two of these. The LEDs protrude making them incompatible with some switches such as Gateron Ink switches. Any switches that do NOT have a gap/space in the bottom of the case to accommodate the bulbous LEDs will NOT fit this keyboard. I've added an image for reference. OTHER: This keyboard has great potential. In itself, without changes, everything is fine. IF you don't care how it sounds then this is a great choice for you. BUT, if you really care how it sounds and want to change it: the keycaps are flimsy, and it doesn't really matter which switch you choose in general. With the configurations offered here (red/linear, brown/tactile, blue/click), the sound signature is pretty cool. BUT modifying the case with foam, lubricating the switches and stabilizers, and replacing the keycaps with thicker ones will improve EVERYTHING exponentially. As I said, I bought two of these keyboards. I've modified both with foam inside the case, replaced the switches with the ones I like (with smear and switch foils) and replaced the keycaps with thicker PBTs. After these modifications, typing on this keyboard has become a joy. The sound signature is greatly improved and the feel of the keys is excellent. I use a mostly wireless keyboard and have had no trouble maintaining a Bluetooth connection. There are no significant typing lags (I'm typing 90-110+ words per minute). Battery life seems excellent for at least a day's use, fully wireless and with the LED on. Conclusion: - If you get this keyboard and don't want to do any mods: THIS IS GREAT - If you buy this keyboard with MODIFICATION plans, be aware of the switch compatibility limitation.
