I bought these cables at the same time as some Antec cables of the same type so I had a choice. It's the same wire gauge (16 AWG) so the performance shouldn't be different. Antec cables have a much thicker jacket. In my opinion, a thicker sleeve looks better; There is no gap between the Antec cables. This does not mean that the Clovertale set has no power. I found use for Clovertale cables with thinner cases when I had a bottleneck to run the cables through. Second, I find that sleeved cables look better when neatly tucked away; not grouped together with a band. This Clovertale set comes with velcro straps. You must purchase a cable comb separately to get this folded look. I think those cables should have come with them.
