Review on Upgrade Your Gaming Experience with SteelSeries Arctis 5 - RGB Headset for PC and PlayStation 4 - White [2019 Edition] by Arun Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, the product corresponds to the description.

Alas, almost all famous brands do not develop the technological side of their devices, but only develop marketing tricks and advertising, and these headphones are a real example of this. They are good, but not worth the money.

Pros
  • Good positioning. It's good, not great or perfect. Very comfortable (for me personally). There was a question about taking them to the store, but left it only because of the ease of use. Noise isolation is good, comparable to normal in-ear headphones. Flexible long wire, seemingly quite reliable if you use the headset in normal mode. It writes well micro, for games, chat and the like it’s enough for the eyes, it doesn’t rattle, it doesn’t make noise, the noise reduction works well. Really convenient for discord, firstly, the discord immediately picks them up and you don’t need to configure anything, and secondly, it’s convenient to adjust the volume balance through the remote control.
Cons
  • The sound is really controversial. If you turn on the 7.1 mode in the software, it will start to seem that the headphones give out some kind of heavenly sound and detail, but in fact without this mode they are just specially strangled, I realized this when I connected it to my smartphone (galaxy s9) via jack, in the end I got a little different, but not nearly inferior sounding. Conclusion, there is nothing unusual in the headphones themselves, let alone in the software, ordinary ears in a beautiful package. Games and movies in headphones come in well, but as for music, everything works out as it should, but personally I don’t have enough bass, but the high ones are almost always knocked out. But here I'm not offended, the headphones are positioned as gaming and as gaming headphones they are really good.

After buying a Creative g6 DAC and AKG K612 pro headphones, I realized how terrible their sound was. But reviewers praise. Apparently this is how they earn a living.
