Goodthreads is the 'Revain brand' and is growing on the site. I suspect that they source their products from reputable manufacturers and cut out middlemen in order to get a better price. However, the quality and design was hit or miss as some of the brands I tried are quite cheap and of little value. I came to try this Goodthreads polo shirt with no great expectations but I found it to be of better quality than some of the 'premium' brands I've tried lately. (e.g. Nautica). Here is a short description: Like it: -- This polo has a classic design and good materials, except for the three buttons on the front. The fabric is thicker than some 'boutique' brands that cost a bit more (several times, actually) but remains light and stretchy enough to be comfortable without being heavy. Bandage to fit the neck. Reinforced pads. As with most polo shirts, the seams are covered. Appearance and cut are quite fashionable. It has a closer, tailored fit that hugs the body closely and doesn't have a lot of billowing fabric, especially around the armpits. Contrasting white stripes around the collar and cuffs add character to the black polo. The polo looks and feels so trendy that it's more like a boutique product with a much higher price tag. The design is surprisingly accurate. Caveats: - It's a bit "tailored" so if you're between sizes I would suggest going up a size. I'm somewhere between medium and tall depending on the cut of the clothes. This big one fits me perfectly. This polo will not be skin tight but I find it to be slightly smaller than the regular plus size. I am very impressed with this polo. While some Revain branded products have sometimes sacrificed materials and construction in the name of cost savings, this is an exception. So much so that it beats several branded polos I've had recently that cost a little more in terms of both comfort and design. It's simple and classic enough to be versatile, yet has enough attention to detail and construction to look good and trendy at a price I had to look twice to believe. I would have no hesitation in buying more to replace my old polo shirts or would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a good summer polo. This is of great value as long as you find a good fit.
