We knew we needed it when Thomas' fire hit us.

Indispensable in every situation. We realized we really needed it when Thomas' fire hit us. We had no electricity for 6 hours and were unable to contact our relatives to let them know we were fine. Our entire backup battery is dead, as is all of our other devices. This is amazing when you have absolutely no other source of energy. The USB option and the crank are really handy, and the radio and flashlight are another plus for the features.
