I do dance photography as a hobby and mostly shoot raw so I have more control over lighting/color grading etc. Because of this, my photo files are usually very large and transfer through most cameras with built-in USB ports is excruciatingly slow. Luckily, Anker has this little gem. The transfer speeds are very, very good for USB 3.0 - when reading, I consistently achieve 80 to 90 MB/s. When transferring images between 64GB and 120GB, this speed makes a big difference. It's also very compact and doesn't have a cord that wears out over time. Build quality is excellent - small, durable, easy to slip into my camera bag so I have it on hand whenever I need it. Also, if lost, it can be replaced at its cost. If you are looking for a fast and reliable SD/MicroSD card reader, this is it.
