I had to read a million reviews of a million different scratching posts and stopped there. I'm so glad I did! Took 30 minutes to assemble and my 3 boys did it in seconds! Plush soft carpet too! 1 Tabby is older, weighing only 10 pounds, and despite his age he can easily climb between platforms. The 19-pound tabby even fit his fat bum in the dressing room, as did the 15-pound gray, and they took turns fighting for the top bunk. Stable and low enough on the ground, it doesn't rock back and forth. Her last tree was bigger and more dangerous because it swayed a lot and the platforms were too far apart for the old one to really use. Nobody fits in the bottom hammock so I can just remove it. Still a good buy and happy they like it too!
