Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch 3 - 45mm Smart Watch with Advanced Health Monitoring ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ & Fitness Tracking, GPS, Bluetooth & Long-Lasting Battery - Mystic Black (Unlocked LTE, US Version) by Shaun Jdi แ Œ

Not worth the money, would not recommend this product.

I have been using GALAXY WATCH3 45MM TITANIUM for about 3 months. I'll start with the pros (there aren't many of them). The watch looks really good, the bracelet is really titanium with a high-quality coating, everything else is not. The GPS tracker is weak, it searches for a signal for a very long time, and often does not find it at all. Third-party apps for sports (like STRAVA) are badly done, you can say they don't work, which indicates that developers are not interested in developing really working applications for TIZEN OS. I feel cheated. Buying a watch for 50k, I counted on the premium quality of materials. It was important for me that this watch is titanium, resistant to mechanical damage, but in fact I RECEIVED ALUMINUM WATCH WITH POOR-QUALITY COATING AND A TITANIUM BRACELET FOR 49990 RUB. The fact that there is no synchronization with Apple Health at all (except for reading step data from Apple Health, and only what the phone recorded, recorded data from MI BAND, the application from Samsung does not record to itself), makes this watch inferior fitness -hours. There are no functions for measuring blood pressure and ECG (but there is still a small hope that these functions will appear in the near future). These are the main disadvantages of this watch for me, the rest could be put up with. I feel cheated. In fact, the TITANIUM version differs from the usual WATCH3 only in a titanium bracelet (everything else is identical (functions, materials of the case and bezel of the watch itself)), itโ€™s definitely not worth paying 23 thousand more for this and for a more stylish look than conventional WATCH3. Samsung deceived everyone, is it worth relying on the company's conscience? I think no. Hope this review is helpful to others.

Pros
  • 1) classic, stylish, minimalistic design 2) Convenient rotating bezel solution 3) a really high-quality titanium bracelet and most likely two control buttons (everything else is not, see cons)
Cons
  • 1) The bezel is NOT TITANIUM (I think it is aluminum with a very "gentle" anodizing). On the second week of using the watch, I scratched the bezel on the edge of the table, I was very upset, but this scratch opened my eyes to the fact that the bezel is NOT TITANIUM, since over time the scratch should have become with a golden hue (which is typical for titanium oxides), but the scratch only slightly darkened (see photo), which is typical for ALUMINUM ALLOYS with a high aluminum content (most likely it is 6060-T6 aluminum alloy or similar). 2) The watch case (despite the cool TITANIUM engraving) is NOT TITANIUM. After some time of use, I decided to remove the bracelet to clean the watch. Having removed the bracelet, I noticed that in the places where the small stops from the bracelet touched, dents formed and the coating on the case was damaged. Annoyingly, but uncritically, the place is not visible to the eye, if you do not remove the bracelet. The dents have not acquired the golden hue characteristic of titanium alloys, as well as the bezel has darkened slightly (see photo); there are no traces of contact on the stops of the bracelet (see photo), this means that the material of the bracelet is more solid. Based on these facts, I conclude that the case is also NOT TITANIUM, BUT ALUMINUM. The coating, like the bezel coating, is delicate. 3) There are no functions for measuring blood pressure and ECG. About six months have passed since the release of this watch, during the time of using the watch (about 3 months), I ated the software three times, but these functions did not appear and it is not clear whether they will appear at all. I think this is also a hoax, because in the description there are no footnotes (even with small text) that these functions are not available in 2022. 4) There is practically no synchronization with the Apple Health app, the Samsung Health app does not record anything in Apple Health, no steps, no sleep data, much less training data, NOTHING! Even cheap bracelets from XIAOMI record steps and sleep data. This is not what you expect from a premium watch for almost 50k.

Got pros: Bezel. As an assistant to the phone is a great thing. As a sport or tracker, I would watch something else - the same garmin Its cons: Leather belt. Immediately replace with silicone. Battery - not enough for me (3-4 days is not enough for me)
