Top loader is fast and quiet. It didn't stick to me unless I used crumpled paper. The paper tray has a large capacity. Instead of putting the handset up, I plugged the cordless phone into the back and used the fax line as a back-up. The print quality is good. Many programmable options. The downside is that the 128 toner cartridge is expensive. You can use regular cartridges, which are much cheaper, without losing quality. Replacement Blake 128 suited me. What you need to know is that the fax machine appears to be programmed to display a "Check cartridge" error message when a generic cartridge is installed, even if it is working properly. You just have to ignore the message. I would buy this again.
