As I only received the AZ1000W this month I didn't try the filters. I wanted to buy some extra filters so that after washing the dirty filters I can turn them around to dry completely. I searched two different vendors on Revain, one of which was Veva. Another provider showed measurements that came very close to the original in a vacuum. The information from the vendor states that the filters are compatible with the AZ1000W. The pictures showed that they were designed for the NV650 and I checked the Shark website to see if both vacuums use the same filters under the accessories - and they did. The price was a little lower for an unnamed supplier, but my final decision was based on my review of suppliers' websites. I was more impressed with Veva. COMPLIANCE: All filters (HEPA, dust box and flat disc) are identical in size to the originals. In fact, HEPA looked so similar you'd think it was made by the same manufacturer as the originals, and maybe they were? The production materials are the same, and the only difference I've noticed with the foam filters is the tab for the flat disc filter. I can't say anything about the quality compared to the original. UPDATE 7/20/2020: I've been using these filters for almost six months now. I originally bought the filters in February 2020 and have used them on both my Shark AZ1000W and my daughter's unit which I bought for her. I've washed them a few times now and they're holding up great. I washed them with (non HEPA) liquid dish soap to keep them cleaner. I think the instructions might say wash in water only but I had no problems. VERY SATISFIED with the filters.
