Not the best way to save!
Not a very good product. After a month of use I started noticing very low water pressure. I paid a plumber to come out and inspect it and he determined the problem was with that filter - it was clogged and slimy. This film prevented water passage. I have never come across a slime filter from a famous brand. I just wanted to save money and figured it would be a good deal. But I ended up spending the money I saved and then some more on that support call! I went back to GE and had no problems. Don't waste your time! If I could "return" them, I would!
