I bought this for my two guinea pigs (they are less than a year old) however the opening was a little smaller than I would like and they could hardly I ended up unzipping the front zip and using it as a hay holder. When the front zip is unzipped they can get in very easily. However, I had a very hard time getting the hay out (it sticks inside like crazy). It holds up too not very good its shape and wobbles It ended up in a bin.
