Our cats had kidney failure and we still don't know why. The vet told us to say goodbye and recommended a vet to put her to bed at the right time. A few months later the cat is still alive; not fully recovered but much better. We believe this food played a large role in keeping her alive until her body had a chance to partially recover. It smells rather unpleasant for us, but the kitten likes it very much. So glad it was available when we needed it.
