I bought a house that had been vacant for over a year and before that there was a dog that did a lot of damage to the house including destroying the floors , used as a toilet to use. I did a lot to get rid of the smell but even after a year the smell is still there so I took this R86 and put it in several small bowls around the house. The first day I noticed a big difference and by the second day the smell was almost gone. I don't know if this is a lasting effect, but you need so little of it, the bottles last a very long time. I also like its smell. I was worried it would smell bad based on some of the reviews but it smells fresh and clean. Whether you like the smell or not, no one will dispute that it's way better than that little thing you're trying to get rid of!
