I bought this item a year ago as a Christmas present for my husband who often works from home hunched over his laptop. We've both used it and found that it helps a lot in developing better posture and of course keeps his male parts from overheating. It's easy to use and doesn't require much effort. The downside is that in terms of noise I find it very squeaky after some use and it would be even more useful if there was some sort of flat base that could be attached to the last leg to allow for more height and use . completely removed from the knees. Maybe it's because I'm choosy because I'm pregnant so my tummy is pressed against the brace and my hips have gotten a bit fatter.
