Nobody needs this carpet. It works just like any other decent quality mouse pad and has a pretty good non-slip base, but you can find both as cheaper alternatives. No, this is not a mouse pad that you buy just because "you need a mouse". mat" is the mouse pad you buy because you have a problem and that problem is everything you have needs to glow with the right color scheme. You buy this to claim the ARGB monster that first our keyboards, then our mice and our headsets, our case fans and our motherboards and GPUs and our CPUs and AIOs and water blocks and our monitor backplates and our soundbars They buy this because the RGB monster needs to be fed because we not knowing what will happen if this is not the case and it is too big a risk to take it.The first one I received has some minor manufacturing defects that allowed the light to shine through. The center of the mouse pad has small ones pinprick-sized spots, so I definitely recommend checking for imperfections upon delivery; they're very noticeable in a dark room, but otherwise the RGB monster is quiet, and that's all that's really tough lt, right?
