I bought this because I have a very nice new chair with bad casters. Well, cheap, low-quality rollers that break easily are more correct. There is no point in loving the chair and getting new casters from the manufacturer, so buying a new one is the only option. But due to an experimental error, I kept getting the wrong size replacement rolls (turns out local stores don't even have them). I bought this to accurately size the bolt and threaded chair base I have. I did a great job and ordered the right rolls online. It will always come in handy, no more than two trips to the hardware store. I recommend it
