Review on Secure Your Shade With AMMSUN Beach Umbrella Sand Anchor – Metal Heavy Duty Base For Sun Protection And Strong Winds by Alejandro Silem

Works Great - Better Than The Rest

I've tried a few different beach umbrella anchors and the ones with an auger attached work the best. All I have to do is twist this thing and it drives itself into the sand and makes for an excellent umbrella anchor. And it's very sturdy in the wind! The only problem that I see with it is that if high tide starts to roll in and a wave floods our site, this anchor is going to get buried in salt water. Since it's made of metal (and not cheap plastic) it will probably rust very quickly if that happens. I like this thing so much that if it rusts too much, I'll need to order another one. You should order two so that you have a spare in case it rusts.

Pros
  • Gripped the sand well. Had no problems even in 15 mph winds
Cons
  • The anchor may require an excessive amount of force to unscrew from the ground
