Terrible quality, best in home fans

Not sure what happened to this fan. It works well for the first 10 minutes or so, but then the fan speed drops, then increases, decreases, then increases until it starts beeping. After that, the low speed and squeaking persists even if you turn it off and on again. If you spin the fan a certain way, it will work while you're moving it, but will start creaking again when it's stationary. I think the problem is in the electromagnetic motor. Maybe it's an isolated problem, but it's still a problem.
