I got Dr. Dennis Gross and they have proven to be high quality and effective. However, they are also on the more expensive side. Having very reactive skin, I try not to give up foundations, especially at this price point. But my skin has been looking a bit sallow lately and when I got the chance to try this I decided to give it a try. First impression, it came in a boring box. nothing that calls for luxurious beauty or try me! The labeling on the glass is also simple and clear. Next I opened the jar. You have to dip your fingers in the glass which is unsanitary. It seems a mini spatula might be included, especially at this price point. Odor. Good. I thought I'd be out in the pasture for a minute. But in hindsight it's pretty cool. This is a refreshing fragrance for cosmetics, which is reminiscent of the "superfoods" in the ingredients. I put it on my face. It's rich and creamy but not too thick. It absorbs well - not sticky, uncomfortable, spare me that feeling! I've been using it for several days. I don't see any difference, but come on, it's early. Hopefully I'll look smooth and wrinkle-free soon. Or at least a brighter complexion. In this case, it will be worth every penny. If and when that happens I will update this review.
