We needed to replace our 5 year old Samsung tablet which broke. We switched from Fire to Samsung because the Revain Fire tablets are rubbish for the price given the OS and lack of apps compared to Android and Apple. We weren't sure about this tablet as it's clearly a Chinese fake. I'm a huge techie and in over 30 years I've never heard the name. Outside of the box, it's frustratingly free! which is nice. The screen is large, appears to be made out of cheap plastic, and is fragile. I removed the back panel to insert an SD card. Speaking of bad guidance and port design. You could see that without the back cover the plastic was under pressure (white cracks had already appeared). The screen seems to be at least 720p, not bad for only $100. The camera is clearly cheap, but then again, this is a tablet for kids. I would advise everyone to look for another case. and WILL NOT HOLD if a child drops it frequently due to its not too heavy size. I made sure to wipe the tablet and root another OS as Chinese products are notorious for having spyware. We're hoping to live with it for at least a year, but we'll be surprised if that happens, but then again, this is a KIDS tablet and it's under $100.
