This is a great mouse if you're trying to have a mouse that can only be used on a Type-C device and still have the capability of a normal USB features. . What I like the most is the RGB lighting. I love it when it glows and it's great to have in my office. If you want to use the port, type c. It must be connected via an adapter. Unfortunately the adapter sticks out so be careful as you could damage the adapter. It has a slot so you can install a dongle (instead of an adapter) on the mouse itself. The default connector is a regular USB port. The mouse feels pretty good. It has a fairly slick feel and unfortunately the black leaves some oil on your fingers if you have oily fingertips. There is no real lag or drift with this mouse. There is a built-in rechargeable battery, which is very convenient. You can easily charge the mouse by connecting it directly to your laptop via micro USB. Unfortunately the cable is short. I was able to use it for quite a while before the battery died. As far as I can tell, it has a sleep mode to save battery when you're not using it, but it has an on/off switch when you need it. The mouse moves fairly well over most surfaces and the click is fairly responsive. I would say light gaming will work with this mouse when you really need it. I'd say the distance is pretty decent. I was able to walk around the room and the mouse was still connected fairly well. The black is a nice color but I'm afraid the black will fade with prolonged use. The LED light goes very well with the color. You can adjust the color with the middle button. There are pads on the bottom, but they are not soft silicone pads. It feels like a solid material. This is a plugin for the game that works great on both Mac and PC. I was able to use this on my Macbook with no problem, although you may not be able to use some of the features with this mouse. It doesn't look like it has a way to tweak the DPI, but it already has a pretty good default DPI so I don't see the need for tweaking. However, there is no forward or back button on this mouse. Overall I think this is a good cheap mouse if you're looking for something that will work with new Macs but give you the ability to work with older PCs. It's just plug and play, but the downside is that the mouse looks a bit cheap and the button will be a lot bigger than many others since they give you both options.
