Apart from my PowerBot, this is my first Samsung handheld vacuum. There are many features I like: - A stand is good if you have space. My other racks have chargers attached to the wall. This is a very convenient way to access the product. I especially like the on/off button. With my other vacuums, I have to hold down the button on the handle the whole time. I am not a child. I have another brand of four and the house is large so it can stand for a couple of hours. - Relatively light and manoeuvrable. - Power cord entry is not in the grip. With my other vacuum cleaners. My hand closes the entrance and I get electrocuted all the time, especially when I'm vacuuming the carpets. This is static electricity but it is very audible and very annoying. Access to the waste bin is easy. The screen filter is easy to clean as it sits next to the opening and not at the back of the bin - It sucks well but mostly at maximum power - I can lean the vacuum against the wall and it doesn't fall out. I don't like it - and it deducts two stars: - Battery life. POOH! 14 minutes at altitude with the power attachment. It's terrible. I have three dogs, one of which is a labrador who sheds all the time. Low and medium settings won't pick up hair. So I can vacuum for 14 minutes and then charge the battery for THREE HOURS! One of the nice things is the separate battery charging dock at the base of the stand. It's great if you have $150 for another battery - for another 14 minutes. Samsung should add an extra battery for free as a courtesy and as an apology to its customers!
