This microphone set has everything you need to take it to your event. The hard-shell case protects and accommodates all components perfectly, including space for two sets of batteries. This allows you to insert batteries into the microphones on the go, leaving room in the case for two spare battery packs. That's a good idea! Speaking of batteries, the mics have a very handy indicator of how much battery power is left, so you don't have to guess when to replace them. You can see right on the display. That's a huge bonus and Gudeholo deserves a lot of credit for it! The receiver has a nice big display showing which channel each mic is using and it works like a 2 channel mixer so you can adjust the volume on each one. Microphone disconnected before being output to a mixer or other device. One downside to the mic design is that you have to unscrew the knob to access the channel and mic gain controls. So if you're in the middle of an event and experiencing interference, you essentially have to take the mic apart to change channels. This prevents accidental interaction with the button, but it seems like this feature could or should be more accessible. Just an idea. I'm a little confused as to why they labeled this microphone set as a karaoke accessory. I mean it can be used for karaoke but these are professional quality wireless microphones that can be used for any application. They are durable, work well and sound great. I removed one star from my rating because I have seen very similar sets selling for $20 less than this set. As I haven't used any other sets I can't say they are better or worse but I can say they look pretty much the same as this one which makes me think this set could maybe cost a little closer to $80. 100 dollars.
