Instructions state that the diffuser (clear plastic end) is removable. I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't removable. I don't like diffuser hair dryers because they just take too long to dry. Who has time for this? The diffuser is not removable! I even asked a question to make sure it wasn't removed properly. My answer was not removable. I absolutely cannot stand false advertising! This is shadow business. I regret throwing the box away. If I had kept the box I would have sent it back. Now I have a travel hair dryer that I won't be using, such a waste of money. If you like diffusers on your hair dryers, it's nice and small, lightweight and great for travel. I can't tell how hot it gets because I won't be using mine. I don't spend 30 minutes drying my hair when it can be done in less than 5 minutes. If anyone was able to remove the diffuser from the end of this hair dryer let me know how you did it. Update: I used it to test this. It took me longer to dry my hair than regular hair dryers, but I have to say not bad. My hair is shoulder length and has a fine texture. It took over five minutes but definitely less than ten. Like I said, I don't like diffusers on hair dryers, but this one has a decent opening, which helps. I'm giving this one another star because it dried my hair.
