I bought this carrier to carry my daughter's turtle. The carrier is very durable. It comes with an insert that is great for the turtle. There is one side that has an air shield. It's very safe. The carrying fabric is hard-wearing. The carrying case has a handle to carry it like a wallet. You can also use a longer shoulder strap. We use both to carry our turtle in this stretcher. Can be easily closed with a zipper. I catch the turtle, put it inside and close it with ease. When I release it, I usually unzip it on the side opposite the firewall. Then I wait for it to come out. Very happy with my purchase.
